These are just three of the many gardens I have designed over the years, but hopefully the alpine garden, pond garden and mediterranean gardens shown below, can showcase the variety of gardens that be created to your specific requirements.
Alpine Garden
The client was originally from Scotland and asked us to create an alpine garden on an overgrown slope. We cleared the area and added rocks. We sourced plants from specialist alpine nursery including one in Scotland.
Location: Somewhere, Sussex
Plant Selection: Saxifraga, Armeria, Lewisia, Erigeron borealis, Genitana nivalis

The pond was in place and we had been asked to design the planting in and around the pond.
Location: Rotherfield, Sussex
Plant Selection:
Zone 1: Bog plants: Angelica archangelic, Dormera peltata, Primula veris, Gunnera manicata
Zones 2 & 3: Myosotis scorpions (water forget-me-knot), Mazus reptans (Chinese marsh flower), Mentha aquatic, Zantedechia aethiopica (Arum lily)
Zone 4 Deep water: Waterlilies, Aponogeton Distachyos
Oxygenators: Ceratophyllum demersum, Scirpus cernuus

We are now very experienced in choosing and nurturing suitable mediterranean plants given the new reality of climate change here in the UK. Frequent hosepipe bans are another reason for selecting drought tolerant mediterranean plants.
Plant Selection: Erigeron, Lavandula, Rosmarinus, Olea europaea, Cistus, Artemisia.
